This is a great UV-C light sanitizer wand. It is easy to use and works great as advertised. It is sturdy, compact, lightweight and well made. It uses the traditional mercury UV-C light bulb that has been proven effective for disinfection. Generally speaking, mercury UV-C light has a wider coverage than UV-C LED and hence more effective.

This wand works great for sanitizing the kitchen countertop, cutting board, bathroom surfaces, door knobs, and even soft surfaces such as face masks. It only takes about 10 seconds to kill germs on a surface, so it is pretty quick to scan across and sanitize a surface with it. I like that it can be used on a vertical surface such as door knobs and handles, etc.

I like that this wand is dual-powered. It operates on either 4 AA batteries or an external USB power source via the USB port at the end of the wand. This allows for a more effective use of energy since this wand is supposed to have a rather powerful 4W UV-C lamp. I probably would use it with an external power bank at home, and save the batteries for travel.

Overall, I’m very happy with this UV-C light sanitizer wand. It is easy to use and works great. The dual-power function is very handy and more economical in the long run. It comes with a UV-C test card with which you can test for yourself that the wand does emit UV-C light. A micro-USB cable is also provided. Great product at a good price. Highly recommended.
