UV light sanitizers require a lot of power & use up batteries quickly. Our UV light sanitizer wand is powered by battery or USB so you never run out of power & don’t have to waste money on batteries. But we included battery power for those times when you need it.

WHOPPING 4 WATTS OF UV LIGHT

Most UV light sanitizer wands are only 2 watts & have less disinfecting power requiring more time to sanitize. Some UV light sanitizers are made with LEDs which are not proven to be as effective as 253.7nm bulbs. And the LED light band is very narrow so you can’t sanitize as much at one time. Our sanitizer wand has 253.7nm for maximum disinfection and quartz glass for maximum penetration.

SAFETY TESTED FOR SHOCK HAZARD

We’ve seen reviews/photos from buyers showing other melted UV wands. So, we made ours from high quality ABS to resist heat. We even tested our UVC bulb for shock and fire hazard to IEC 62471 standard. NO OTHER UV LIGHT SELLER DOES THIS.

ENGINEERING NUANCES OF OUR UV WAND

The closer the UVC bulb can get to the surface to be sanitized, the greater the disinfection. So we created an indentation for your fingers so the bulb sticks out and can get closer to the surface to be sanitized. A small feature, we know, but it makes all the difference.
We surrounded the UV light bulb with a reflective surface to intensify the UV light for even greater disinfection. And the reports above prove it worked.

This UVC wand light works perfectly…and here’s how to avoid batteries forever so it’s portable!This UVC wand light works perfectly The light works just as described. One of the complaints that I’ve read from reviews is that it does not take rechargeable batteries. I don’t think any kind of batteries would last long or provide consistent power for this UVC light because of its quality and intensity.

Lightweight and EfficientLightweight and Efficient This wand is extremely light weight and emits real UV-C light. I travel a lot and am always using Clorox wipes, so im happy to change it up and use this wand to disinfect high touch areas when im traveling. My suggestion- use a long USB cord if you can while you're home/on an airplane to help make the sanitizing process easier!

This light DOES shine UV-C germicidal light!This light DOES shine UV-C germicidal light! This device DOES shine UV-C sterilizing light. It is a real, legitimate germicidal lamp. - I placed both a purple UVA/B and a green UVC germicidal testing card on the table (see pictures). I turned on the lamp and quickly noticed the UV-C card (green) glowed brightly. The UVA/B purple test strip did not glow (which is a good thing, as UV-A & B does nothing to sterilize). This means the light produced true, germicidal, UB-C light, and can sterilize. Also included with the lamp is their own test strip which also functions properly and shines brightly when exposed to the lamp. - Of the many UV-C lights I’ve tested, I’m impressed at how bright the test strip glowed while under the lamp.

Generally speaking, mercury UV-C light has a wider coverage than UV-C LED and hence more effective. It only takes about 10 seconds to kill germs on a surface, so it is pretty quick to scan across and sanitize a surface with it. I like that it can be used on a vertical surface such as door knobs and handles, etc. I like that this wand is dual-powered. It operates on either 4 AA batteries or an external USB power source via the USB port at the end of the wand. It comes with a UV-C test card with which you can test for yourself that the wand does emit UV-C light. A micro-USB cable is also provided.

This works, and is true UVC.This works, and is true UVC. A portable UVC sterilizer that works! I've been through a couple other brands that were duds, but this one is great. There is a UVC test card included (see pics). I illuminated it with a UVB source I have and it did not glow, so it really is only testing for UVC. I'm impressed.

Germozap UV light reviewGermozap UV light review The wand works well and doesn't have the auto-shutoff that most other wants do when they aren't facing down. This makes the wand more practical to sanitize objects that you can't lay flat like door knobs or other vertically oriented items. The testing card shows "disinfecting" when the light shines on the card. The wand is big enough to hold comfortably and the UV light row is long enough to cover most items that you would want to sanitize. I would definitely recommend this UV sanitizer.
